Welcome to Ropley Horticultural Society

We are a group of keen gardeners who meet to share our interest in gardens and gardening. We usually meet about seven times a year with speakers on topical horticultural subjects. We have our Flower of the Month competition at each meeting and in addition at the July meeting there is a Sweet Pea Competition. Other events include two Flower and Produce Shows as well as a Plant Sale. We also organise two or three member events when we typically visit other gardens for organised tours.

If you would like to join us please print out the Membership Form and bring it along to one of our meetings or alternatively send it to our Membership Secretary.

All membership subscriptions paid for 2020 and any membership payments received later in the year will cover the period until December 2021 and so please don't hesitate to renew or join as a new member.

Next Meeting

Our next Members' meeting will be Monday 26 July, titled 'Gardeners' Question Time' with Ray Broughton. Covid-19 restrictions permitting this will be in the Sports Pavillion behind Ropley Village Hall at 7.45pm. Any changes to this will be published here.

Plant Sale - The On-line shop is open

Our Plant Sale this year will once again be online with plants collected from Bloomers in Colemore on Saturday 22nd May. The online shop is now open. Non-members please call back later. As well as offering plants on line there will be sales tables at Bloomers offering plants for sale donated by members. Some of these will be previewed on line and may be reserved by email for collection and payment on the day. Call back occassionally as this section will be added to as members donate plants.
